Manager, Media Content Strategy – North America

The Manager, Media Content Strategy – North America, reporting to the Director of Paid Media and Content – North America, will be managing and executing media content strategy for full-funnel national media and retailer co-op campaigns. The Manager will be tasked with engaging consumers through a mix of digital and social media with the objectives of building brand equity, driving awareness, increasing consideration, and driving sales. This role will collaborate closely with Global Digital & Marketing, North America Marketing and Communications, E-Commerce and Creative teams to develop and execute the North America content strategy to meet business objectives.

A creative, out-of-the-box thinker, the Manager, Media Content Strategy – North America has exceptional knowledge of the Social Media space, with a strong pulse on what’s currently trending in the competitive landscape in order to further drive the fresh media content strategy.


  • Own North America content roadmap across all paid media (inclusive of Upper Funnel, Middle Funnel and Lower Funnel)
  • Drive North America content marketing strategy, that is routed in insights from audience data, search trends, competitive landscape and historical performance, in order to drive a deeper relationship with target consumers
  • Work with creative and global teams to ensure all paid media creative assets are delivered as requested and on time in order increase performance and efficiency
  • Monitor creative performance with media agency and share performance results with global and creative teams to ensure continuous evolution of content
  • Maintain open dialogue with media partners to ensure that content is developed specifically for the best practices of each media platform
  • Manage relationship with media agency, overseeing content strategy and execution for all paid media programs
  • Review and approve all custom content programs and creative/ influencer elements within it
  • Work closely with North America E-Commerce team on digital asset creation to ensure cross funnel alignment/cohesion from a messaging perspective
  • Assist on development of paid media investment strategy and execution of campaigns across channel (both national media and retailer paid media coop campaigns)

What you will learn (and/or achieve) in the first 6 months:

  • Work cross-functionally to execute 1H’22 media campaigns and develop creative assets that deliver on the 2022 strategic approach per campaign
  • Develop Rose 2022 paid media content strategy based on 2022 communication strategy, historical learnings and best practices for the platforms
  • Work with the media agency and platforms to help Fresh team stay up to date on trends and best practices

  • Evolve paid media content strategy to be best-in-class creative that is tailored by media platform and objective
  • Collaborate with global and north America teams to more closely align global creative with paid media needs
  • Align creative strategy to product benefits and ingredient story communications platform for NA marketing


  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing preferred)
  • At least five years of Digital/Social paid media content and influencer related experience required (agency, publisher or brand)
  • Beauty Industry Experience is a plus (either agency or in-house)
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, proactivity, willingness to learn
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task
  • Attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, ability to adapt to fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
